Masih adakah lagi ghuraba'? Jika ada, kitakah ghuraba' itu?

Di saat orang lain memilih untuk meminum arak, kita menjadi terasing kerana sibuk mencari makanan yang halal.

Di kala orang lain terbiasa dengan skirt dan boxer, kita ganjil kerana tegar mempertahankan jubah dan kopiah di kepala.

Ketika orang lain merasa senang dengan bermain golf, kita dianggap pelik kerana berhenti dari permainan semata-mata untuk mengerjakan solat.

Tatkala orang lain merasa bangga punya kekasih yang ramai, kita diherdik dan diketawakan kerana masih belum punya teman wanita.

Jika anda pernah berasa asing, ganjil, pelik, ditertawa, disinis, disindir, atau diperlekeh kerana mempertahankan kehidupan yang berprinsip seperti itu, terimalah khabar gembira yang disampaikan oleh Rasulullah sallallaahu ‘alayhi wa sallam.

Women and children alike
Murdered and massacred night after night
While the so-called leaders of countries afar
Debated on who’s wrong or right

But their powerless words were in vain
And the bombs fell down like acid rain
